Sealed Bids will be received from General Contractors by the Gwinnett County

Board of Education, 53 Gwinnett Drive, Lawrenceville, GA 30046, Bldg. "C"

Conference Room for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and services

necessary to perform the work for the following: Grayson Technical Education

Program Cyber Security and Cloud Computing Classrooms, 50 Hope Hollow

Road, Loganville, GA 30052 until Thursday, May 16, 2024 at 3:30 p.m. Bids will

be opened publicly and will be read aloud at the time and place stated above.

Fax transmittals and E-mails of Bid Proposal Form shall not be accepted by the

Owner. Bids received after the above time is called will not be accepted. No

phones will be available.

All bidders, bidding as a General Contractor, must submit AIA Document A305-

2020 Contractor’s Qualifications Statement to be evaluated by the Owner and

Architect prior to being issued plans and specifications. For General Contractors

that have submitted the A305-2020 during the year 2024, submit your latest

copy to biddocs@lpbatlanta.com. Bidders who do not submit the A305

Statement will be subject to disqualification. The A305-2020 must show the

Contractor’s ability to complete the Contract in a satisfactory manner on projects

of similar scope and complexity. References from past clients and projects must

be included and will be verified. General Contractor’s main office where work for

this project will be completed shall be a permanent office located in the state of

Georgia within a seventy-five (75) mile radius of the project site. This office shall

have been in existence for no less than ten (10) years.

All bidders shall be required to attend a mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting to be held at

the site, Grayson Technical Education Program on Thursday, May 2, 2024 @

3:00 pm. Failure to attend shall result in disqualification of the bidder.

Representative shall be Project Manager or Estimator directly responsible for

the bidding of this project.

Any bidder may be required, at the discretion of the Owner, to furnish evidence

satisfactory to the Owner that his proposed subcontractors have sufficient

means and experience in the types of work called for to assure completion of

the contract in a satisfactory manner. Any bidder that is disqualified may

respond to the Owner in writing within 20 days of the Notice of Disqualification

as to why the bidder feels that the disqualification is unfounded. The written

appeal from the disqualified bidder will not change the decision already made on

this project. However, a favorable appeal may open the way for the bidder in

question to bid on future Gwinnett County Public School System projects.
