LDI-Line On-Line® for Georgia
"More info...more often"
If you have subscribed to the FREE LDI-Line On-Line daily E-mail update but you do not receive your E-mail every day, here are some suggestions that may help.
Note: LDI does not distribute unauthorized copies of the LDI-Line On-Line. The LDI-Line is not "spam." We do not dump thousands of e-mails onto the Internet each day "hoping" that they arrive in somebody's e-mail box. You must either subscribe through one of our web pages or give us permission by voice or e-mail or provide us your e-mail address as part of a job listing on the LDI-Line web page. We save copies of permissions and subscription requests. If you no longer want to receive our e-mail, send us an e-mail asking us to remove you from our subscriber list. Please be sure to give us the e-mail address to which the e-mail is being sent. We will remove you promptly. All data contained in the e-mail is also available free-of-charge on the LDI-Line On-Line web page. No User ID or Password is needed. Go to www.ldiline.com/ga

Problem:You subscribed to the FREE e-mail but your subscription never started

The biggest single problem we have starting new subscriptions is a mis-typed e-mail address. Many of us are not good at typing and we make spelling mistakes, especially with e-mail addresses. But if the address is not exactly correct, the e-mail cannot be delivered by the Internet. If you have not ever received even one daily e-mail, we suggest you send us an e-mail by clicking on the link below and asking us to check to be certain that we have your correct address. BE SURE TO SEND THE E-MAIL FROM THE E-MAIL ADDRESS WHERE YOU WANT TO RECEIVE THE DAILY E-MAIL. By doing this, you do not have to type your address and we can verify your address and then check it against our master subscriber list. Click on the following link and tell us you are not receiving your e-mail. We will look into it immediately. infoservices@ldireproprinting.com

Problem: You have subscribed to the FREE daily e-mail but you don't get it every day (or, you used to get it but it stopped.)

A ongoing analysis by LDI of outbound e-mail shows that approximately 17% of our outbound LDI-Line subscribers do not receive their e-mail on any given day. There are several reasons for this. To assure that you receive the information you have requested, there are some things you (and LDI) can do.

1. The Account is Over Quota / Mailbox is full / Exceeded Storage Allocation. Your Internet Service Provider (or internal MIS department) has placed a limit on the number or quantity (KB) of e-mail that you can have in your e-mail box at any one time, and you are over that limit. Any new incoming e-mail will be rejected. DOWNLOAD YOUR E-MAIL REGULARLY. Also, ask your ISP or MIS to increase your quota. Note: the LDI-Line e-mail is about 10k in size, not large by today's e-mail standards. A typical e-mail box quota is 2 MB, enough space to hold 200 e-mails from LDI!

2. Unknown User / Unknown User Account or Recipient / Unrouteable address / Recipient address rejected: Relay access denied . Your e-mail address cannot be found on the Internet. This may be caused by a mis-typed address (see above) or by other factors such as forwarding problems;
First, check with your ISP or MIS department to verify that your e-mail address is alive and well (e-mail servers sometimes "lose" addresses for some reason. They have to be re-entered or reactivated by the ISP.)

Next, be sure that you are not having your e-mail forwarded from some other (prior or alias) address. If you have changed ISP's recently, your former ISP may have forwarded e-mail for a short time as a courtesy.  Or, you may be using one of those "free" e-mail forwarding services. Or, someone in your office may have been forwarding the LDI-line to you and they may have stopped doing this for some reason. IF YOU ARE NOT ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN THAT LDI HAS YOUR MOST RECENT, CORRECT ADDRESS, re-subscribe with new address and (if possible) tell us what your old address was so we can purge it from our master list. We will update our records immediately.

3. Mailbox Unavailable / The destination mail system refused to accept your e-mail message . Your e-mail account may have been canceled or put on hold (suspended) temporarily. This would effect all e-mail, not just the LDI-Line. If you are having this problem, contact your ISP or MIS representative.

4. Not accepted by the mail server / Filter setup, or detected as spam . As efforts to control spam and viruses increase, more and more legitimate Internet content is filtered out. Your problem may be related to the anti-spam efforts of your ISP, MIS Department or even of your own anti-virus software (such as McAfee and Norton or a firewall program.) We all agree that spam and viruses are a big problem, and these days almost every computer system and network in the world has some sort of anti-virus and/or anti-spam filtering system running in the background. Unfortunately, these programs may also filter out e-mail that is not spam. This is because spam and legitimate e-mail may share some common features. As an example, the LDI-Line e-mail uses HTML to create color text. Many spam messages also use HTML. A filter set up to delete messages containing HTML will not be able to differentiate between spam and the LDI-Line EVEN THOUGH THE LDI-LINE IS A REQUESTED SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE. Result: you will not receive your LDI-Line e-mail.

The good news is that there are some things you can do to receive the LDI-Line while also enjoying the protections afforded by your anti-virus and anti-spam software. Most ISP's and MIS Departments use filters and firewalls that can allow specific e-mail addresses to pass through if the specific sending e-mail address or IP address is known to the filtering software. The LDI-Line is sent from infoservices@ldireproprinting.com . Contact your ISP (or MIS) representative and tell them that you want to be sure that e-mail originating from this address is allowed to reach your e-mail box. They should have no problem doing this. THE LDI-LINE IS NOT SPAM AND IT IS SCANNED PRIOR TO DISTRIBUTION TO ASSURE THAT IT IS VIRUS-FREE.

Also, you may have a personal firewall running on your PC that needs to be "told" to let certain e-mail messages through. Similarly, your e-mail software (Microsoft Outlook, for example...go to "Tools" and then "Message Rules") may have to be reconfigured to allow incoming mail from infoservices@ldireproprinting.com to pass through.
