DESCRIPTION: A 22,985 SF Aldi Food store to be built within an existing building (previously Bed Bath & Beyond) including site demoltion, erosion control, asphalt paving, striping & signage, selective demolition, asphalt, landscaping, fencing, rebar, concrete, masonry, steel erection, loading dock equipment, roofing, spray foam insulation, composite metal work, Nichiha siding, storefront, drywall, ceilings, painting, flooring, plumbing, HVAC, fire protection, and electrical work.

Attention Bidders,

Aldi has informed us that the roofing scope is part of the GC’s bid. Please review the drawings and provide us with a bid.

The architect just issued that Aldi pre-purchased the steel package. I’m sorry we didnt know this earlier for those that have spent time putting together a proposal.

This project will be using AHT Cooling Systems for the refrigeration. The refrigeration drawings have been uploaded under the bidding module for your reference. We will be issuing a change on 02/01/22 to capture this refrigeration change in the construction documents. As a result, the bidding period has been extended to Friday 02/02/22. Below are a few scope items to note and will be included in the change issued on 02/01/22.

- All units are self contained with their own ref. circuit and electrical components. All receptacles and sub-panel will be installed by the GC.
- All feeder wiring and disconnect to refrigeration compressors and all other equipment shown on AHT 5.0 is provided by the GC.
- There is no connection to the powerwall. All AHT units are self-contained plug-in.

Follow H-201 – RTU-1 to be a CES unit supplied by Aldi, received, rigged and installed by mechanical contractor.

Attention Bidders,

“The landlord will be providing a pad mounted transformer, final location TBD. E.C. will provide the new conduit per E-401. A line item has been added to the bid form under division 33 to provide the cost per linear foot. This shall include excavation, backfill, conduit and wire. “

Please provide a unit cost per linear foot for above.
