DESCRIPTION: A new 20,928 sf Aldi grocery store including site demolition, grading, site utilities & storm, paving, striping & signage, landscaping, concrete, rebar, masonry, structural steel fabrication & erection, stainless steel, millwork, caulking, overhead doors, storefront & windows, drywall, acoustical ceilings, painting, ceramic tile, toilet partitions & accessories, plumbing, HVAC, fire sprinkler, electrical.

The Contractor shall provide a fully automatic, zoned irrigation system. A “shop drawing” of the design layout, sleeve size & locations, pipe sizes, zones, and all equipment (meter, backflow preventer, valves, quick couplers, rain check device, etc.) shall be provided to the owner prior to installation. This “shop drawing” must be approved prior to commencement of the irrigation work.
The design shall be as per all local codes and ordinances, and be adequate to irrigate all areas of the site (per owner’s direction) within an approve time set by the owner. The system shall be designed based on local water pressure and flow tests. Zones shall be separated into planting areas, lawn areas and drip areas. After installation of the irrigation system, provide the owner accurate, to-scale as-built drawings. Acceptable irrigation equipment is Toro, Hunter and Rainbird.
