Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Conway, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a 25,000-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility. The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: A New construction of a 25,000 sq. ft. HGTC Marine Technology Institute of South Carolina on the Georgetown Campus. The building will support boat building and outboard marine motor technician programs. The building will be conventional steel, masonry, metal wall panels, with aluminum framed storefront & glazed aluminum curtain wall. Roof system will be PVC fully adhered membrane. Interior finishes include wood wall paneling, carpet, porcelain tile, acoustical ceiling system, epoxy flooring, paint & some graphic wallcovering. Residential appliances, exterior sun control devices, metal canopies & exterior screens. Wood doors, hollow metal doors & overhead coiling doors. Enclosed lamination booth & overhead bridge crane. Wet & dry sprinkler systems, HVAC, electrical & plumbing.
