Langford Middle School Augusta, GA

RW Allen Construction invites you to bid on the Langford Middle School Regeneration Project located at 3019 Walton Way in Augusta, GA. This is Phase 1 of a complete school replacement project that will bid on August 8th 2024 at 3pm. There will be a pre-bid walkthrough on July 24th at 11am on site if you wish to see the existing facilities in person.

This project includes the demolition of an existing wing of the Langford Middle School and replacement with a new section that will include new parking lot and bus loading as well as utilities and site work.

The new building will include classrooms, restrooms, science labs, offices, and a new kitchen and cafeteria space. The building is a single-story slab on grade, block wall, brick veneered structure with cold form metal truss, bar joist, and structural steel roofing support. The roof is double lock standing seam metal roof but does have a low slope TPO roof over the kitchen area. Interior finishes are standard middle school finishes with painted block, ACT and drywall ceilings, carpet, Texas Granite tile, terrazzo, ceramic tile, and epoxy flooring. Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection are all new systems.
