Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Cordele, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; for the construction of a educational facility; playground / park / athletic field; water / sewer project; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot. The scope of the work for this project includes the construction of new baseball, softball and football fields, tennis courts, concessions, press box and toilets as well as related grading, utility work, drives and parking.

Contract, if awarded, will be on a lump-sum basis. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after time and date of opening.

Each bid must be accompanied with a BID BOND (Bond only; certified checks or other forms are not acceptable) in an amount equal to 5% of the base bid, payable to the OWNER and issued by a Surety authorized to do business in the State of Georgia, in order to guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract to construct the project strictly within the terms and conditions stated in this bid and in the bidding and Contract Documents, should the construction contract be awarded to him.

The successful biddershall be required to furnish a bond for the faithful performance on the contract and a bond to secure payment of all claims for materials furnished and/or labor performed in performance of the project, both in amounts equal to 110% of the Contract Price. Both bonds shall be issued by a Corporate Surety authorized to do business with the State of Georgia. All bids submitted shall remain open for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of the bid opening.

All bidssubmitted shall be in accordance with the terms ofthe Georgia Vendor Manual and the laws ofthe State of Georgia.

The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities.
