The State of Arkansas requires that all subcontractors:
1. Submitting bids for construction work, including the costs of any equipment and materials, with a value greater than or equal to $50,000 for projects in the State of Arkansas, OR
2. Performing construction work, including the costs of any equipment and materials, in the State of Arkansas with a value greater than or equal to $50,000, shall be Licensed by or Registered with the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board with a COMMERCIAL Classification.

With submission of a bid, ALL BIDDERS whose price is greater than or equal to $50,000 shall submit a current copy of their Arkansas Contractors License or Registration bearing the same name as the entity submitting the bid and have a Commercial Classification. Any bid received by VCC greater than or equal to $50,000 without a current copy of the bidder’s license or registration with a Commercial Classification cannot be considered and any bid from an unlicensed contractor shall be rejected.

The acceptance of any bid from a subcontractor properly licensed or registered by the Arkansas Contractors Licensing Board shall be conditioned upon continued proper licensure or registration through the date that a subcontract is fully executed.
