Sealed bids will be received by the St. Johns County School Board for the construction of K-8 School

“RR” located in the northeastern portion of St. Johns County, Florida.

Work includes General, Site, Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical Construction.

All bids (to include an original and one copy) must be sealed and clearly marked on the outside “K-8

School “RR”, ITB2024-023”.

Bids will be received in the office of the St. Johns County School District, Facilities and Operations

Office, 3740 International Golf Parkway, Suite 200, (adjacent to Mill Creek Academy) St. Augustine,

Florida 32092 until 1:00 pm prevailing local time, Wednesday, June 5, 2024. Bids received after that

time will not be accepted. The bids will then be opened publicly and read aloud. The successful bidder

must be pre-qualified with St. Johns County School District prior to award of any contract. For more

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Fullerwood Training

Center, 10 Hildreth Drive, St. Augustine, Florida 32084. A Site Visit will be held immediately following,

at the project site at 1515 Conversation Trail, Ponte Vedra, FL 32081.

All notices relative to this bid, including but not limited to initial release, addenda, letters of intent and

awards will be posted on DemandStar, www.demandstar.com

Full sets of drawings and specifications may be obtained from LDI Reproprinting Centers at

https://www.Ldiline.com Printed copies are available for a non-refundable fee of $700 per set, or can be

downloaded from the website for $250 per set. Shipping will be at the bidder’s expense. All plan holders

must maintain registered plan holder status through LDI Reproprinting Centers. Only registered plan

holders will receive addenda or other official notifications by email.

All questions concerning the project shall be submitted, in writing, to the Design Consultant, Harvard

Jolly Architecture. This office is the only point where information will be disseminated. All questions

must be received by 5:00 pm on Monday, May 20, 2024. Final Addendum will be issued Tuesday,

Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid must accompany each bid in accordance

with the Instruction to Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five days after the opening

thereof.

The successful bidder will be required to furnish and record in the official records of the county in which

the project is located a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Labor and Material Payment Bond in the

form identified herein.

The St. Johns County School Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities

and minor irregularities in bidding and to accept bids which are considered to be in the best interest of the

System.
